Dear sir / madam,

As you probably read already in our last newsletter GTA has invested a lot in the machinery during the last years. In this and in the next newsletters we want to show you a little more about these machines. Perhaps these machines and her possibilities can mean something for you also. As told we can even better produce bigger series 24/7, this can be gears as well as other fine mechanical products. Besides this production of bigger series we remain producing the smaller series in the daytime.

P60 hobbingmachine:

To expand our capacity for the smaller gears we’ve installed our 2^nd Gleason P60 hobbingmachine in our plant at Someren (Netherlands) recently. This machine suits very well for gears up to Module = 2,5 with a workpiece diameter of max. 80mm. Besides this the P60 is the ideal solution for worms and pinions. This machine can also be used for skiving, this means re-hobbing of a heat treated gear with special tooling. By doing this we reach a ISO quality Q7 and in some cases even Q6.

Quick turn machine MY200 with robot loading:

We’ve expanded our turning department at an earlier stage with a Mazak turning machine equipped with a bar feeder and a robot for loading and unloading the workpieces. The maximum diameter of the workpiece for this machine is 380mm. As an extra feature this machine is equipped with a milling function with as a result several extra possibilities.

Multi-tasking machine Integrex i-100:

We started using a new Mazak Integrex i-100 multi-tasking machine in 2020. In the next newsletters you’ll see that we’ve installed several more new multi-tasking machines and machining centers in the following years. With this i-100 multi-tasking machine we can machine compact and complex workpieces in 1 machine, this gives us many advantages. The machine can do turning and milling operation until a maximum diameter of 500mm. The maximum length which can be machined is 519mm. This machine is equipped with an automatic feeder of the bar material. This is important for our 24/7 production and for remaining competitive also for bigger series.
